Our client envisioned a backyard retreat that would accommodate friends for entertaining, and attract avian guests to enjoy and photograph.  As the vegetation grows, this low maintenance, water conservation friendly landscape will blossom into a lush retreat for all visitors – feathered and otherwise.

One of the challenges our team faced was maximizing the use of limited space, while keeping the landscape from feeling crowded.  An outdoor kitchen, eating area, basalt water feature, decorative boulders, basalt columns, paver pathways and raised beds were all to be incorporated with a natural design flow.  We used varying complimentary brick and paver colors and shapes to highlight distinct features, while tying everything together.
